Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu will personally extend the invitation his Telangana counterpart K Chadrasekhar Rao for the Amarvati foundation stone laying ceremony scheduled on October 22. Naidu is said to have reportedly told this to his cabinet colleagues in the today’ cabinet meeting. The CM is expected to meet KCR on October 18. In the cabinet Naidu released the invitation card of the ceremony. Many feel Naidu’s decision to invite personally will be a political significant move given the growing hostility between the two chief ministers. Naidu driving down to camp office of KCR in Begumpet will thaw the frozen relationship between the two chief minister. Following the cash-for-vote sting operation by Telagana CBI last year, the difference between the two states have turned into personal enmity. After that both the chief ministers avoided all meetings when they could run into each other. All the opportunities provided by Raj Bhavan in the form “At Home” have been avoided. So, the Amaravati function is providing an opportunity now for the two chief minister to shake hands.
As for the invitation to other neighboring states, the CM has reportedly asked senior ministers to go to these states and invite chief ministers personally .
