After TRS and Congress have traveled too far in their preparation for the elections to Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) , the TDP now is planning to create some poll-noise in Hyderabad.
The party is holding a public meeting at Nizam College grounds on January 9. Party’s state president L Ramana said TDP national president Chandrababu Naidu would sound the poll bugle in the public meeting. According to Ramana, the meeting is being organized jointly the TTDP and BJP. This is the party’s first major activity in Hyderabad with regard to the GHMC elections. So far the leaders spent days in discussing among themselves evolving a strategy and finally came out with mission-100 under the supervision of Lokesh Naidu, party’s national general secretary. It is not known yet who is the star campaigner of the party but TDP is fighting the election under direct supervision of Naidu’s heir apparent, Lokesh. The party has reportedly set a target of winning 100 divisions with the hope that it would at least win in 80 to 85 division.
In a way it’s also a test to the political management skills of young Naidu, who is a graduate from Stanford University Business School.
