Sycophancy reached ridiculous levels on the occasion of birthday celebration of TDP supremo and chief minister Chandrababu Naidu today. Naidu celebrated his birthday at temporary capital Vijayawada.
Many ministers , who could not perform well as ministers and leaders, who want at attract Naidu’s attention vied with each other in praising chief minister .Most hilarious glorification of Naidu came from former minister and spokesperson Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu. An MLC now, Gali, Crossing all the decency barriers, praised Naidu that he would remain as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh till 2050. He said Naidu would become prime minister if luck knocks at his door. Gali is one of aspirants for ministerial berth in case there is a cabinet reshuffle. He attended the birthday celebrations organized at NTR Trust Bhavan at Hyderabad. He said it was Naidu who offered political biksha to KCR.
Telangana MP Mallareddy, whose continuance in TDP is a question mark, praised Naidu as the future Prime Minister of India. He said he was proud to be a member of TDP under Naidu’s leadership.
Among the ministers, Palle Raghunatha Reddy thought of gaining brownie points at least in the flattery as he got poor marks in the performance assessment by Naidu. Palle’s office sends messages on his every movement, except about the activities in his high profile department, Information technology. While his Telangana counterpart, a first-time MLA, KT Ramarao rose to pinnacle, Palle is clueless about what to do in IT. It was Palle who had sent messages to media early this morning informing that he had just greeted chief minister on his birthday. While Ramarao is extremely active in social media in telling the world about what is happening Telangana, Palle Raghunathareddy was not at all bothered about the world around him. See their performance on Twitter. KT ramarao tweeted 1114 messages in the past two years, majority are about his IT department, Palle’s score was just 4 tweets. His last tweet was made on September 17, 2014. He has 75 followers. This shows, TDP ministers are more interested in pleasing their boss rather than working for the state.
The other minister who never fails in keeping the media informed about his meetings and praise of chief minister was Ravela Kishore Babu. He is one of the earliest ministers to inform media that he had just greeted the CM and requested them run the news in channels.
