The supreme court on Thursday posted the hearing on anticipatory bail petition to November 30. The court also told the State CID not to arrest Chandrababu Naidu before that date. The court said that it would hear the case only after Deepavali holidays.
As the court had reserved its judgment on the quash petition filed by Chandrababu Naidu’s advocates on the skill development case, the court said that it would hear the anticipatory bail petition only after delivering the judgment.
The court also decided to post the fibernet case also to November 30. The court first wanted to post the case for November 23. However, on the advice of Chandrababu Naidu’s advocate Siddhartha Luthra, the court posted the case to November 30.
The fibernet case also has the Section 17A along with the skill development case, the supreme court decided to hear both the cases in one go.
The advocates for the APCID told the court that they would not arrest Chandrababu Naidu till November 30. As Naidu is already on interim bail on health grounds, the police would not arrest him, the advocates told the court.
Naidu is on interim bail till November 28 and was asked to report back to the superintendent of Rajamahendravaram central jail.
