Nani-Nagarjuna multi-starrer Devdas is all set to release on 27th Sep. His Bigg Boss show also will have final on the same weekend. Meanwhile another update about Nani movies is that , his next movie ‘Jersey’ will go floors from this Dasara.
Nani has been doing movies in the same genre of family dramas. But it seems he is finally stepping out of his comfort zone as his next will be a sports drama. Nani plays a character called Arjun in the film, who realizes his talent at a certain age and pursues his dream to join Indian cricket team. It’s a period sports drama and the story takes place between 1986 and 1996. Nani is already taking cricket lessons in preparation for the role.
The movie is directed by Gowtam Tinanuri, who earlier directed “Malli Rava” movie with Sumanth. The director also clarified that this movie is not based on any real character and it is not a biopic. He confirmed it is an entirely fictional story. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is producing this movie under the banner of Sithara Entertainments.
