Natural Star Nani who has been scoring back to back hits is back with his first release this year titled Nenu Local. Directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, Keerthy Suresh played the female lead and Devi Sri Prasad composed the music. Dil Raju bankrolled the movie and here is the film’s complete review:
Story:
Nenu Local is the story of fun going guy Babu (Nani) who has been backed by caring parents. Once he completes graduation, spots Keethy (Keerthy Suresh) and falls for her. He joins MBA to impress her but his surprising acts irks Keethy and her family. Finally by the time she falls for him, her father (Sachin Khedekar) turns against. It is during this phase, Babu challenges her dad. The rest of “Nenu Local” is all about the challenge and how Nani manages to win his love.

Analysis:
Nenu Local starts on an energetic note and Nani has been projected in a completely different way. His mass acts will sure impress the youth big time and connects to them well. The first half passes with loads of entertainment and the fresh love story is a huge asset for “Nenu Local”. Though some of the episodes look regular, the audience will be left convinced because of the presentation. The songs have been placed perfectly and the interval episodes make the first half decent.
The second half of Nenu Local starts with enough buzz and the audience will be surprised with the twist that has been revealed post interval. Yeah, the film manages to entertain the audience however it dips down at parts in 2nd half. The best thing is that “Nenu Local” picks up at jet speed after couple of flaws. The pre-climax and the climax episodes are an asset for the movie. Nani excels completely in the emotional episodes and Keerthy Suresh shines equally
Performances:
Nani prefers a mass role this time and it works positively big time. His flawless comic timing is a huge asset for the film. The way Nani has been presented looks completely impressive. Keerthy Suresh is an asset for the film and her presence, performance can be even felt after the film’s completion. Sachin Khedekar impresses the audience and he travels throughout the film. Posani Krishna Murali and Eswari Rao have been quite supportive in their episodes.
The story of the film has nothing new and interesting to say. It has been penned with all the commercial ingredients considering Nani in mind. The screenplay and the dialogues have been taken enough care of. Devi Sri Prasad’s music and background score look quite convincing and apt. The cinematography and the grand production values make every frame colourful.Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina steps out with one more emotional and mass entertainer with Nenu Local.
Verdict:
“Nenu Local” is one of the emotional mass entertainers in the recent times. Nani looks unstoppable with his comic timing and Keerthy Suresh steals the show. A perfect film to watch this weekend.
