Nenu Local Collections

Actor Nani is back with yet another entertaining flick, Nenu Local, which opened to packed houses all over. Despite a time tested storyline, the director ensured the film has a good dose of entertainment to impress the audience. Nani is once again the show stealer with his impressive performance. The film took a decent start at the box office in the Telugu states. In overseas too, Nenu Local started off pretty well with good numbers from its premiers.

According to the latest trade reports, Nenu Local notched up $ 160K from its premiers in overseas, which is a very good start considering the genre of the film. This is the best opening for Nani in his career.

Nani’s last film Majnu collected $ 57K, while Gentleman and Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha managed to notch up $ 71K and $ 41K respectively on their premiers day.

Nenu Local was sold for 3 – 3.25 C(Approx) in overseas, so the film should collect close to $800K- $900K for break even. As two big ticket films are gearing up for release next week, Nenu Local should have a solid weekend to enter the profit zone.

Directed by Trinadh Rao Nakkina, Nenu Local features Keerthy Suresh as the female lead.
