Nikhil to romance Catherine
Young actor Nikhil has been busy shooting for his next outing Kirrak Party which is the remake of Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party. Showcased in a never seen look, Nikhil plays a student leader in the film which has been announced for February 9th release all over. Nikhil has been extremely impressed with the Tamil thriller Kanithan and signed the film on spot. Top producer Tagore Madhu holds the remake rights of the film and he stepped ahead to bankroll the project in Telugu. Nikhil has been extremely happy to come on to the board for the project.
TS Santosh who directed the original will helm the Telugu version and the pre-production work kick-started sometime ago. Catherine Tresa who played the female lead in the original has been roped in to romance Nikhil in the film. An official announcement about the remake will be made soon and the regular shoot of this untitled project would start from March this year.
