Nandamuri Balakrishna inched the prestigious 100th film mark. After rejecting several scripts the actor signed a periodic drama titled Gautamiputra Satakarni. Talented director Krish is directing this big budget movie which completed 80% of its shoot. Gautamiputra Satakarni is the costliest film among Balakrishna’s movies and he will be seen as Gautamiputra Satakarni, a warrior king in the film. Shriya Saran is the female lead and Hemamalini will be seen in a crucial role.

Gautamiputra Satakarni has been carrying huge expectations and is one of the most awaited films. The movie has been doing terrific pre-release business all over and the latest news is that actor Nithiin’s Shrest Movies along with Asian Cinemas acquired the theatrical rights of the film for Nizam area between stiff competition for a whopping price. The news has been revealed by Nithiin through his twitter handle. Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi are producing Gautamiputra Satakarni on First Frame Entertainments that will release on January 12th 2017 during Sankranthi.
