Superstar Rajinikanth’s next outing Kaala is hitting the screens during June this year. The post-production work of this gangster drama is in final stages and the makers are busy closing the business of the film. Couple of top Tollywood producers approached the makers of Kaala offering decent prices for the Telugu version but the makers quoted huge prices. With no interesting offers, the makers of Kaala are now waiting for a decent deal but the Telugu version of Kaala was left unsold. Lyca Productions acquired the theatrical rights of the film.
Lyca Productions is now in plans to release the film on their own across AP and Telangana if they do not receive an interesting offer as expected for the Telugu version. As of now Kaala has been left unsold across Telugu states. PA Ranjith directed Kaala which showcases Rajinikanth as a gangster. Wunderbar Films bankrolled the movie and Kaala has been announced for June 7th release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
