Top actors NTR and Charan joined the sets of their respective films recently and the shoot of the movies are progressing in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. With the Telugu Cine and TV Outdoor Lightmen Union protesting for hike in their fee and to cancel half-day call sheets, most of the shoots have been interrupted and are kept on hold from April 21st. The Telugu Cine and TV Outdoor Lightmen Union clarified that they would interrupt the shoot if the lightmen are brought from Mumbai to shoot Telugu movies. With no options, most of the film shoots are kept on hold.
However NTR and Charan’s movies are shooting in Ramoji Film City and the lightmen have been brought from Mumbai considering the ongoing strike. But Telugu Cine and TV Outdoor Lightmen Union cannot launch their protest as Ramoji Film City is restricted only for shoot and will not allow outsiders. Nithiin’s Srinivasa Kalyanam is currently shooting in Chandigarh and the shoot may be halted as the lightmen working for the film have been asked to return by their union. Hence, except NTR and Ram Charan’s films, all the other Telugu films will now take a break and will have to wait for the strike to be completed.
