The Telugu diaspora residing in various countries across the globe launched an initiative called ‘Andhra Pradesh Non Resident Telugu Society’ ( NRTS ) which aims to provide a platform for Telugu NRIs to engage in various business activities.
As part of this initiative, it is proposed to construct an NRT iCon Tower, a 33 floor building on the banks of river Krishna which houses offices of more than 50 companies, lavish revolving restaurant, sprawling auditorium, amphitheatre, digital library and many more with state-of-the-art facilities, is going to be constructed very soon with an expenditure worth 500 Crores.
The foundation stone for this iconic structure will be laid by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on June 22nd.
This is a first of its kind tower which is going to be built using the exoskeleton method in Amaravati. The technique will help in reducing the time for construction and also the space occupied for the building.
