Star hero Balakrishna’s ambitious project NTR, a biopic on his father and legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, was supposed to start rolling this Summer. In an expected set back to the much awaited biopic, director Teja who has been handed over the directional responsibilities has walked out citing personal reasons. This has temporarily put the project on hold.
It is now almost confirmed that Balakrishna himself is going to wield the megaphone for this prestigious project. News is that he has initially approached Krish Jagarlamudi to direct the film after Teja’s sudden exit.
Reportedly, Krish has put several conditions like changes in script, dialogue version and technical team. Also, it is heard that he asked Balakrishna to wait till completion of his current Hindi film Manikarnika to start working on NTR biopic.
Unhappy with Krish’s terms and conditions, Balakrishna has decided to don director’s hat by himself. Despite suggestions from his close friends to drop the idea of making NTR biopic, Balakrishna has decided to go ahead and direct the film by himself.
More details will be out soon.
