Hyderabad: The KCR government is keen on constructing outer-ring roads to all the cities in Telangana in order to develop them similar to the Hyderabad Metro Development Authority (HMDA).
In this regard, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directed the officials to come up with a detailed plan and proposals on the cities development. With the development plans, the urban dwellings will be transformed into growth centres in a very short span of time, KCR intended.
The Chief Minister hailed the newly-appointed district Collectors, district SPs, senior officials, officers of various departments for the effort they are putting in bringing the administration on track. However, the senior officials and those who are deputed in the new districts are facing severe inconvenience in setting up their offices and house. Some of them are travelling long distances every day from residence to district headquarters.
Speaking during a review meeting at his residence in Hyderabad on Saturday, KCR suggested the district officials to carve out plans by noticing the resources in the respective districts.
Checking rampant construction and real estate expansion, there should be proper plan in setting up industries, housing ventures, townships alongside providing basic infrastructure and amenities, KCR suggested.
