Both the houses; Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha once again witnessed the high-drama from the TDP and YSRCP MPs. Shockingly, a Baahubali-like-war scene took place outside the Parliament between YSRCP and TDP. After Vijay Sai Reddy (YSRCP) raised objections against Sujana Chowdary demanding the Centre to fulfil its commitments, TDP MP CM Ramesh lashed out at Vijay Sai Reddy at the media gathering.
The TDP MP alleged that YSRCP is opposing the development of Andhra Pradesh for political gains.
After Modi’s Ramayana jibe at Renuka Chowdhary, the Congress slammed the BJP and PM, calling them as sexist comments.
All through this while, except during Sujana’s speech, the TDP MPs were busy disrupting the house proceedings. It shouldn’t come as a surprise if TDP MPs are suspended from Lok Sabha, given Sumitra Mahajan’s stern warning.
Later in the post-lunch session, things heated up between the BJP and TDP. Arun Jaitley in tape-recorder style diction, once again reiterated, the Centre is fully dedicated to fulfilling the commitments made in AP Reorganization Act 2014. The TDP MPs protested against the Finance Minister’s announcement.
Answering to Rahul Gandhi, who asked to disclose details of Rafael deal, the Arun Jaitley said it is classified data and involves nation’s security.
A heated argument between Sujana Chowdhury and Arun Jaitley took hostile environment in Rajya Sabha to a new level. Sujana gave a 2-week ultimatum to the Centre, in particular to BJP, to resolve the special package row currently going between the Centre and State. TRS MP Kavitha extended her support to AP MPs.
