Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan took serious objections to the fun talk of the Telugu Desam Party MPs on the agitations for special category status, railway zone and steel plant issues. Referring to the video clips of the MPs making fun out of the issues during their chit chat at Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in Delhi, the Jan Sena chief wondered how the MPs can make fun of the issues which are important to the State and where people are fighting.
“If they make fun of these issues, why are they poising as fighters and why are they trying to fool people,” Pawan Kalyan asked. He said that the MPs talk was on the lines of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu changing his stand on special category status in the last four years. He said Chandrababu Naidu had changed his stand several times shifting from special category status to the special package confusing the people. “We have evidence to prove how Chandrababu Naidu had changed his stand on the issue and how he downplayed special category status. He can’t fool people,” the Jana Sena chief asserted.
The MPs who were caught making fun of the indefinite hunger strike and State’s claims for special category status, steel plant and railway zone, denied to have made any such statements. They further alleged that the video clip was doctored to defame the TDP and the party MPs. Though the Chief Minister himself had seriously warned the MPs for their loose talk, he blamed the BJP and the YSR Congress for circulating the distorted version of the video clip.
But, Pawan Kalyan refused to subscribe to this argument of both the MPs and the Chief Minister and said that the people are clever and have the evidences to prove how the TDP leaders including Chandrababu Naidu are treating the State’s issues.
TDP MP J C Diwakar Reddy goes on record stating that the special category status, railway zone and steel plant will not come and still he joins the agitation. Pawan Kalyan referred to these statements and wondered how and why the TDP leaders are holding protests on these issues when they know that nothing will come. It is now for the TDP leaders to answer Pawan Kalyan.
