Hyderabad: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan will be touring Rayalaseema region from February 21 onwards. He will interact with party cadres and local leaders during his three-day tour in Kurnool from February 21 to strategise on party plan for the district.
Pawan Kalyan is focusing on backward region Rayalaseema and would meet farmers to discuss on proposals on uranium and steel industry and their impact on agriculture and local environment. An interaction with farmers under KC Canal ayacut has also been scheduled in the Pawan Kalyan’s tour programme.
After Kurnool, the Jana Sena chief will visit Chittoor during February 28, March 1 adn 2.
Jana Sena party has recently set up constituency-wise five Lok Sabha committess in Telangana. These five committess have already started working in Karimnagar, Adilabad, Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar and Nagar Kurnool Lok Sabha constituencies. Jana Sena party leaders Hariprasad, Riyaz Khan, Mahender Reddy and Madasu Gangaram are members of the screening committee, which will submit the list of potential candidates to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan soon.
A member of the committee said that more number of applications are pouring in for Assembly constituencies when compared with Lok Sabha seats.
Pawan Kalyan said that the party would receive applications till February 21 and will finalise the list this month end. Jana Sena will maintain social equations in the selection of candidates as the screening committee is also well balanced as it represents all sections of the society, remarked Pawan Kalyan.
