Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is likely to stay in Kakinada for three days from December 28. He is scheduled to hold review meetings with the party leaders and explain to them about the party’s alliance with the TDP.
The party is now reduced to just 25 seats in the alliance while the leaders are expecting more seats or rather contest all 175 seats in the coming elections. A good number of the leaders are not interested in the alliance as they would be losing the chance to contest all the Assembly seats.
Pawan Kalyan would now have to convince these leaders for the alliance. He might take some tough times in explaining the reasons that led him to go for alliance. As most of the leaders are against the alliance Pawan Kalyan would have to take time to convince them.
The leaders who are compromising with the alliance are not happy with the number of seats that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is offering the party. The TDP leaders are not ready to give more than 20 seats to the Jana Sena in alliance. The TDP says that it is stronger in the constituencies than the Jana Sena.
It is now to be seen how Pawan Kalyan would explain the compulsions that he is having with the TDP in fixing the alliance. Pawan Kalyan had pledged to defeat the YSR Congress in the coming elections and it is not possible for him without the help of the TDP. This is the reason why Pawan Kalyan is scheduled to spend three days with the party leaders in Kakinada.
It is now to be seen how difficult it would be for Pawan Kalyan to convince his party leaders on the alliance. It would also be seen how Pawan Kalyan would explain to the rank and file and convince them of alliance with the TDP.
