The film industry is a notorious place where competition is cutthroat. Everyone vies for attention and supremacy and in such an environment, selfless co-operation is almost like a mirage. But, it does exist in very rare cases.
Something of that sort is now happening between Dolly, who directed Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh’s ‘Gopala Gopala’ and Vasu Varma, who directed Sunil’s ‘Krishnashtami’.
For the past many months, Dolly has been helping Vasu Varma in the post-production work and other areas for Krishnashtami. He is spending long hours with Vasu, to offer his guidance and judgement for the movie. Vasu Varma and Dolly go back a long way and they started out as friends in the film industry. Dolly is reportedly very keen about Vasu Varma getting a good break and that is the reason for his efforts.
Such co-operation sets a healthy example for other directors and technicians. In the end, the world is big enough for everyone to succeed. Meanwhile, Dolly is also waiting for Pawan Kalyan’s go ahead. Pawan promised to work with him after ‘Gopala Gopala’ and things may materialise later this year.
