Tollywood audience have always been supporting small movies by making them massive hits. One such innovative movie that has been trending all over is Pelli Choopulu. Tharun Bhascker made his debut as director with the film and Vijay Devarakonda, Ritu Varma played the lead roles. The movie created huge hype after the release of the theatrical trailer and producer Suresh Babu too supported the movie releasing in maximum number of screens.
As expected the movie received stupendous response all over right from the first show of its release. The movie opened with packed houses across the multiplexes and the towns witnessed decent growth over the weekend. The collections have been outstanding across the overseas and made on a budget of Rs 1 crore, the movie is set to leave the makers in huge profits.
There has been huge competition for the satellite rights of the film and many leading tv channels have been competing for the satellite rights of the film. A source revealed that the deal is almost set to be closed for Rs 3 crores soon which is huge. On the whole, Pelli Choopulu is expected to make a decent business of Rs 10 crores all over. Raj Kandukuri and Yash Rangineni produced Pelli Choopulu jointly.
