Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Government decided to invite suggestions and change from experts and people to the Draft Master Plan and Perspective Plan of Amaravati city. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held a three-hour meeting with Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) Vice-Chairman, and Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P Narayana, and senior officials of the authority on Thursday. The chief minister who made some suggestions to the plans, also asked the officials to notify the draft plans for people to see and respond.
The plans will be put online for 30 days from the date of notification to receive suggestions, objections and changes from people and experts. Once this process is over, then the government will move forward with the next phase of selecting a Master Developer to begin construction of the capital city. Prior to this, farmers who had given their lands to the capital city would be allocated plots.
