Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make a pilgrimage to AP for the first time after he assumed power in his second term. Modi will visit and offer prayers at Tirumala hill temple on June 9 at 4 p.m.
BJP AP President Kanna Lakshminarayana has said that all arrangements are being made for the PM’s visit. The intimation has been given to the officials concerned. PM Modi will take part in special puja prayers to be held by the Tirumala priests on the occasion.
The AP BJP leaders are in upbeat mood following the grand victory of their party in the general election. They are going to use the forthcoming visit of Modi to highlight the scope for their party’s strengthening in AP. The Modi-Shah duo tried to make inroads into AP and Tamil Naidu in the past five years but they could not get considerable success. This time, the BJP is going to make increased efforts.
