Police case on Flipkart founders
A police case filed against Flipkart founders for allegedly cheating a businessman of Rs9.96 crore. The cheating case pertains to non-payment of dues by Flipkart to C-Store Company for laptops it supplied.
Police said FIR has been registered against Flipkart’s founders Sachin Bansal, Binny Bansal and a few other company officials based on complaint by C-Store Company’s Naveen Kumar. had contract with Flipkart for supplying laptops and other electronic goods. So far they had supplied about 14,000 laptops. Flipkart, returned about 1,480 units. But did not pay for the remaining laptops they supplied and that amounts to approximately Rs9.96 crore. Police filed cases under different sections of the Indian Penal Code like – cheating and criminal breach of trust.
However, Flipkart did not respond on this yet.
