Former minister and senior politician Dr Daggubati Venkateswara Rao today met YSRCP chief Jagan at Lotus pond, Hyderabad. YSRCP leader Vijaya Sai Reddy welcomed him. Daggubati Venkateswara Rao and his son Hitesh meeting YSRCP chief intensified the rumors about Hitesh plunging into politics in 2019.

Daggubati venkateswara rao’s wife and NTR’s daughter Purandaresari is still in BJP party and she is currently BJP manifesto committe chairman. There were rumors earlier about Purandareswari also leaving BJP but it seems she will continue in BJP. Their family is very close to late YS Rajasekhara Reddy and during his tenure Purandareswari joined Congress, became MP and even cabinet minister. Later, after bifurcation of the state, she had left Congress party and joined BJP. She even contested from Rajampet as MP but lost from there. In the month of June’2018, Daggubati praised Jagan Mohan Reddy and told his padayatra was immensely successful. Daggubati also said that the way people responded to Jagan’s walkathon itself shows how successful it is.

By seeing Daggubati’s comments, 6 months back itself many political analysts pointed that Daggubati’s family might be already trying to join YSRCP and it might be just a matter of time things are revealed to people. Even though what transpired in the today’s meeting is not yet revealed, many are predicting that Daggubati Venkateswara Rao might have requested Jagan a seat for his son.
