Salman Khan’s latest romantic drama Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which released recently, has notched up more than 100 Crores at the ticket windows worldwide in just three days. Featuring Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Anupam Kher in crucial roles, the film was directed by Sooraj R Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Productions.
As per the latest trade reports, the film has raked in nearly 102 Crores at the end of three days. The film has garnered 40.35 Crores on its opening day and 31.05 Crores on Friday. Continuing its solid run, the film has amassed 30.07 Crores on Saturday taking the total past 100 Crores. Trade circles believe that the family entertainer will surpass the 140 Crore mark by Sunday. This is the 9th film in Salman Khan’s career to enter the prestigious 100 Crore club making him the only hero to have 9 films collecting more than 100 Crores.
Salman Khan’s commendable performance in dual role and the grandiose production values are the biggest assets for this romantic drama. The film is registering superb collections in the international markets as well. This is the 5th film in 2015 to enter the 100 Crore club. Salman’s last film Bajarangi Bhaijaan also registered thumping collections and ended as one of the top grossing films in India.
