The AP government is making all arrangements for the 2-day visit of President Ramnath Kovind to Tirumala and Sriharikota space centre. Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has already reached Chennai in view of the President’s visit. Today evening, Kovind will arrive at Tirumala and stay at the Padmavati Guest House. Later, he would visit the temple during the VIP Break Darsan on Sunday early morning hours.
Afterwards, the President will arrive at Tiruchanur to take part in the inaugural function of Padmavati Nilayam rest house there. From there, he will proceed to the ISRO space centre at Sriharikota to witness the Chandrayaan-2 mission. Governor ESL Narasimhan and CM Jaganmohan Reddy will receive the President who will arrive at Renigunta airport in a special aircraft.
TTD Special Officer AV Dharma Reddy has held review meetings on arrangments and instructed the officials to keep a close vigil.
