Jana Sena political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar on Saturday told people to press the button on an electronic voting machine to send chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy home.
Speaking to the party workers at Tenali, Manohar told them to ensure that Jagan Mohan Reddy is sent home in the next elections. He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy had destroyed the state in the last four-and-a-half years.
Manohar said that the state was taken back to 40 years, and it needs to be developed from scratch. Jagan destroyed the state’s economy through foolish programmes, he alleged and emphasised the need to defeat the YSR Congress in the coming elections.
He further said that the Jana Sena and the TDP are now working together to ensure that Jagan Mohan Reddy is sent back to jail. The two parties are working on a common manifesto for the coming elections, he said.
Manohar also told them that both Jana Sena and TDP are coming up with greater welfare programmes with women as beneficiaries. He wanted every woman in the state to support two parties and vote for the TDP and Jana Sena.
The Jana Sena leader said that the TDP and Jana Sena would together tour the state, meet the voters and give them the promises. He wanted the voters in the state to rally behind the two parties and ensure that Jagan Mohan Reddy is defeated.
He blamed Jagan Mohan Reddy for not developing capital in Amaravati and not completing the Polavaram project in the last four-and-a-half years. He said that the previous TDP government had acquired land to build a new capital in Amaravati. He blamed Jagan Mohan Reddy for not building the new capital in Amaravati.
He asked the people to think twice before voting. He wanted them to press the EVM button to defeat the ruling YSR Congress in the state.
