After formally launching her campaign in Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, from her family’s Raebareli constituency along with her brother Rahul Gandhi last evening, Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s daughter Priyanka Gandhi was spotted today in Hyderabad, with her family members, on a private visit.
She visited the city with her husband Robert Vadra and son Raihan Vadra for taking a second medical opinion from eye specialists for their son, who has reportedly received an eye injury while playing cricket. They have consulted eye specialists at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI).
According sources, Raihan Vadra was first taken to a couple of hospitals in New Delhi, including All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). It is learnt that the doctors had advised for a second opinion, which made the Gandhi family to contact the eye specialists at LVPEI. It is learnt that he was undergone series of tests at the hospital as per the prescription of specialists. Both the parents have accompanied the youngster while he is undergoing the diagnostic tests.
Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member T Subbi Rami Reddy is said to be taking care of their visit and they are staying at Park Hyatt. The boy said to be attended by three eye specialists for conducting diagnosis and given their opinion about the injury.
