There is nothing like a pre release profit for a producer. Often referred to as a table profit, it is a highly favourable situation where a producer gets to make a profit on the film even before it releases.
One senior producer is said to be enjoying a table profit for the first time in his career. He is none other than Damodar Prasad of Ranjith Movies. Though he made successful films like ‘Ala Modalaindi’ and ‘Anthaku Mundhu Aa Tarvatha’, he did not make too much money on them.
But for his upcoming film ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame’, Damodar Prasad has a table profit thanks to Abhishek Pictures. The film was bought outright for a good price, leaving Ranjith Movies in a safe zone.
The movie has been directed by Nandini Reddy and it is getting ready for a release on March 4th.
