Congress party has given a call to party leaders and workers to perform pujas in temples and do prayers in Masjids, Cuhrches and Gurudwaras across the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for
well-being of AICC president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi.

This is call is given in the light of court case in connection with National Herald assets against Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi. There is even talk that they are likely to be arrested in the case. Describing this as NDA government’s vendetta, the Congress asked the party leaders across the states to do prayers to ward off evil design of enemies of Congress party ie Bharatiya Janata Party.

According to Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy the pujas and prayers will be performed on Saturday.

In another program, Congress party is taking up protest program at the Indira Gandhi statue on the necklace roan in Hyderabad.
