PVP Cinema banner owned by Prasad V Potluri is one of the most sought after production houses in South at present. They are currently bankrolling a bunch of high profile films in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. Brahmotsavam, Oopiri and Ghazi are among those biggies which are shaping up to hit the screens very soon.

Telugu360 has exclusively learnt that the popular production house is pooling in extravagant budget for Rana’s period drama Ghazi which is based on the mysterious sinking of war submarine PNS Ghazi. It is believed that a whopping budget of around 65-70 Crores is being spent on this interesting flick. Sankalp Reddy is making his debut as a director with this film and Tapsee is playing the female lead.

Recently, a massive set has been erected in Hyderabad for shoot and the makers are ensuring that not a single picture will be out from the sets. The entire cast and crew were requested not to carry their cell phones with them. The makers are planning to release the film in Telugu , Tamil and Hindi simultaneously.

PVP’s recent release ‘Kshanam’ was made on a shoe string budget. The film released last Friday and received a positive word of mouth.
