With his last film ‘Luckunnodu’ disappearing into thin air in no time upon release, ‘Geetanjali’ helmer Raaja Kiran is keen to prove a point again. Which is why he invested almost a year on the script of his next, ‘Viswamitra’, the launch of which took place in the hands of director Teja on Monday in Hyderabad.
Speaking to Telugu360.com, Raaja Kiran said, “’Viswamitra’ is a women-centric mysterious thriller inspired by real incidents which happened in countries like US and Switzerland. It will run on the theme ‘nothing is impossible in the world’. Inspired by the script, ‘Jakkanna’ director Vamsi Krishna Akella came forward to pen the dialogues.”
He added the film would be a Hyderabad-set drama which will flag-off in June. The plan is to wrap it up under 50-60 days. While he is yet to zero in his leading actors, he noted, “I might go for a Bollywood face as the actress needs to talk more with her eyes.”
A joint venture between the director, Madhavi Addanki and S Rajinikanth, the film will be shot by cinematographer Anil Bhandari.
