AP CM Chandrababu Naidu met with Congress President Rahul Gandhi at the latter’s residence in Delhi today. They discussed the manner of polling and voter trends till now across the country. Naidu has already announced that the BJP has not gained any upper hand in the elections so far. Naidu has also told Rahul about the outcome of the struggle by the 21 parties on the issue of counting of VVPAT slips for transparency in the election results.
Chandrababu Naidu was supposed to meet Rahul yesterday itself but the Congress president was otherwise busy with electioneering. Naidu told Rahul about how the polling was conducted in Andhra Pradesh and how the voters turned out in large numbers to cast their votes. Both the leaders also discussed the future strategies to be adopted after the May 23 results. Naidu has been making serious plans to deny any first opportunity to the BJP to form the government at the Centre.
