Congress President Rahul Gandhi announced that if voted to power, their party government would take measures to bring down prices to reduce burden on common man. He promised to bring petrol and diesel under the GST so that their prices would be within the reach of users. He expressed concern over the rising prices of petroleum products having an impact on common man’s life. The Congress accused the BJP of harming the interests of youth and farmers.
Rahul asserted that PM Modi no longer has any chance to retain power as there is an increasing opposition to his leadership across the country. Modi’s policies and programmes revealed that he is not a Chowkidaar but a Chor. The youth are only talking about this as they have lost jobs and are denied new opportunities because of the GST and demonetisation. Rahul asserted that the Congress would do everything in its power to prevent the BJP from winning once again.
