Geeta Govindam released on independence day got good reviews and very good openings. Arjun reddy star Vijay Devarakonda’s presence and good publicity helped the movie get good openings. But not only openings, but mouth talk on the movie also very positive.
Bahubali director Rajamauli showered praises on the the movie. He tweeted, “#GeethaGovindam was a laugh riot. @TheDeverakonda – what an unexpected but a spot on choice after Arjun Reddy. This guy clearly knows what he is doing. The film is full of subtle nuances and fun momemnts. Well written and handled by @ParasuramPetla. ” Appreciation coming from Rajamauli is considered big compliment in the industry.
Director Parasuram responded to Rajamauli’s tweet and said, “Sir we are blessed to have ur complements , Humbled & Glad you have enjoyed our film , Thank you very much #GeethaGovindam”. Vijay Devarakonda also responded to Rajamauli and thanked him, as he tweeted, “Super happy to hear you had a blast sir :)) compliments from you always mean a lot”
Meanwhile, movie is running successfully and as there is not much competition for the movie, it is expected to register big numbers at box office
