Rajamouli completed 15 years in Tollywood

Telugu cinema witnessed many versatile directors who emerged as the leading filmmakers. However it is SS Rajamouli who proved the stamina of Telugu cinema across the globe with his films. The ace director’s first film Student No 1 released on September 27th 2001 and Rajamouli completed 15 golden years in Tollywood today. With just 10 films in his career of 15 years, Rajamouli has enough grip on all the crafts of cinema which made him the most successful directors of Indian cinema.

His last movie Baahubali: The Beginning has been a massive hit in all the released languages and it grossed Rs 600 crores worldwide which is huge for a Telugu film. The film received critical acclaim and it has been lauded in many prestigious International film festivals. Rajamouli is the highest paid South Indian director and he is busy carving the second instalment of Baahubali titled Baahubali: The Conclusion.

Known for lacing the right commercial ingredients in his films and elevating the episodes at the right time, powerful presentation and gripping narration have been his biggest assets.
