SS Rajamouli is planning big with his next film after RRR. RRR received critical international reception and Rajamouli was thrilled with the response. His next film has Superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role and the film is a forest adventure packed with action. Rajamouli has been in plans to have a simultaneous international release for the film. He had initial plans to start the shoot of the film in April or May this year after an extensive pre-production work of six months. The pre-production work is delayed and Rajamouli is taking more time than normal. The pre-production work of the film has been extended by six more months. Considering an international release, span of the film, multiple locations and collaborations, Rajamouli is taking more time to start the film.

The shoot of the film will start in the first quarter of 2025. Rajamouli also has multiple options to collaborate with an international studio and he will finalize them soon. Rajamouli personally conducted a recce across several countries and some of the locations are locked. At the same time, Rajamouli is fine tuning the final draft of the script. Mahesh Babu is working on his looks during this break and he is participating in the workshops. Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu will interact with the media before the shoot commences. The major cast of the film also has been finalized. MM Keeravani is the music director and KL Narayana is the producer. More updates will roll early next year.
