Superstar Rajinikanth is showing an inclination to pair up with 90’s heroines. He is shying away from romancing today’s heroines. Even though he paired up with actresses like Nayanthara and Trisha, Rajinikanth is mostly teaming up with senior actresses. After acting with Simran in ‘Petta’ and Eeshwari in ‘Kaala’, Rajinikanth will now work with another yesteryear actress.
Buzz from Chennai is that Meena will play Rajinikanth’s wife’s role in his new film that will be launched soon. ‘Shankam’ fame Siva will be directing this film. Sun Pictures will bankroll it.
Rajinikanth and Meena were considered as a hit pair in the ’90s. ‘Muthu’ was a sensational blockbuster in their combination. Siva is reuniting them for this new film. Meena recently appeared as Venkatesh’s wife in ‘Drusyam’.
