Superstar Rajinikanth and ace director AR Murugadoss are coming together for the first time. Rajini is playing a fiery cop in this social drama which is set in the backdrop of Mumbai.
The first look poster of this crazy project has been unveiled today and it features Rajinikanth sporting a signature smile and he is flanked by trappings related to cops. Murugadoss has officially announced that the film is titled Darbar. The regular shooting will commence in Mumbai shortly and Nayanatara has been finalized as the film’s leading lady. The makers are planning to release the film for Pongal 2020.
Music sensation Anirudh Ravichander will compose the soundtrack and Santosh Sivan will crank the camera. Lyca Productions will bankroll the film on a hefty budget.
