Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Robot 2.0, which is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster science fiction thriller Robot, is touted to be most expensive Indian film till date. Genius filmmaker Shankar is directing this much awaited film and Lyca International banner is producing it. Amy Jackson is the female lead in the film.
The regular shooting is progressing at jet speed and already 50 percent of the film has been wrapped up. The latest update reveals that the unit has completed 100 days of filming and the climax portion is done and dusted. Also, two major action episodes have been shot recently.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is playing the antagonist in the film. The first look poster of the film is likely to be out in September. AR Rahman is composing the tunes.
