Rajinikanth’s 2.0 Team Legal Action On American VFX company
Undoubtedly, Rajinikanth’s 2.0 is one of the much-awaited projects and the whole nation is eagerly waiting for its release. But surprisingly, the movie has been postponed from January to April 2018, but the reason hasn’t revealed.
Now, as per the reports published in Bollywood Hungama, the reason behind the delay and postponement of 2.0 and it is, one of the leading American VFX Companies, who promised to complete the special effects in stipulated time interval failed to deliver the task.
On the condition of anonymity, a member of 2.0 team shared that initially, they had planned to give the VFX work required for the 1000 shots to 10 different companies, but the particular American VFX company, who did VFX for films like Life Of Pi has taken the huge task, but at the end, it failed to fulfill it.
Now, the members of Lyca Production company are planning to take a legal action on that VFX company, as they even declared itself as bankrupt and they even took 90 percent of the payment in advance but failed to meet the deadline.
They also revealed that they haven’t completed at least 50 percent of shooting and now the team is working around the clock to complete the project in time.
