Superstar Rajinikanth has been back to success track with his latest outing Kabali which released recently. This PA Ranjith directorial received negative response from the audience however the movie minted huge money all over at the box-office. The actor has been shooting simultaneously for his next movie titled Robo 2.0 which has been made on a massive budget.
Top director Shankar is directing the sequel for his past super hit film Robo. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is playing the lead antagonist in the film and the shoot of the film has been kept on hold as Rajinikanth has been on a break to USA. He returned back to Chennai recently and the latest news is that the next schedule of Robo 2.0 will start from September 6th in Chennai.
Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar will participate in the shoot and Amy Jackson is the female lead. AR Rahman is the music composer and Lyca Productions are producing the film. The movie is being shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Robo 2.0 has been made on a massive budget of Rs 250 crores and the movie will hit the screens during summer next year.
