Jai Bhim is a remarkable film made in Indian cinema. This Tamil film failed to get a theatrical release because of the pandemic. The film’s director TJ Gnanavel is back with one more powerful hard-hitting social drama titled Vettaiyan. Rajinikanth plays a ruthless cop in the film and Vettaiyan has a strong lead cast like Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Kishore, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Abhirami, Rao Ramesh, Rohini and others. The lead antagonist has been kept under wraps for now. Vettaiyan discusses about various crimes happening in the society and the common people revolting against the system.
Rajinikanth plays a cop who doesn’t wait for justice and takes up the path of encounters. While Rajini is on a mission, he receives unexpected breaks from Amitabh Bachchan who plays a lawyer in the film. Vettaiyan seems to be one more commendable film made by TJ Gnanavel. Some of the dialogues from the trailer are impactful and thought provoking. Anirudh’s background score matches the mood of the film. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Vettaiyan is slated for October 11th release.
