Mega Power star Ram Charan Tej, who bagged a box office turkey with his last outing Bruce Lee, will now team up with Surender Reddy for his next project which is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan. The pre production work is currently going on and the regular shooting will commence in February.
In the meantime, Ram Charan started his workout and is following a strict diet to look the part in this action thriller. He will be seen as a IPS officer in the film and Aravind Swamy is likely to reprise his role from the original version. The story for the Telugu version will be tweaked to suit the flavour of the audience.
The leading lady is yet to be confirmed and Rakshak is the title which is under consideration for the film. Allu Aravind and DVV Danayya will jointly produce the film.
