Ram Charan is celebrating his birthday today and he is busy promoting his next film Rangasthalam which is hitting the screens this Friday. On the eve of his birthday, here are the excerpts of his interview about Rangasthalam and his personal life:
Rangasthalam is the story that took place during 80s when I was born. We went back as the people were innocent during those days and technology had no space for people and they relied completely on relations.
I was left in shock when I heard that the role of Chitti Babu was deaf. However the character has been penned strong enough that the film was never a letdown when it came to heroism.
I asked my tailor to stitch two pairs of costumes from Rangasthalam for Allu Ayaan after he turned a huge fan of the film’s songs.
I am a huge fan of traditional wear and I regularly wear white lungis at home during evenings. Even when Sukumar came to narrate the story of Rangasthalam, I was in a lungi.
Chitti Babu is one of the most challenging roles I have done.
My next film with SS Rajamouli will roll next year and Rajamouli is currently busy penning the final draft. I am yet to hear the script and it is the belief on Rajamouli that made me sign the film.
My most favourite song from Rangasthalam is yet to be released and the song will be the major highlight of Rangasthalam.
After Rangasthalam, Papikondalu turned out the best holiday spot for me and Upasana. We are in love with the natural locales.
I have a secret social media account with a unique name. I follow and get updated what’s happening through that account. Even Upasana is unaware of the account.
