Hotshot filmmaker Surender Reddy is gearing up to wield the megaphone for the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan. Ram Charan will play the lead role and Shruti Haasan is in talks for the female lead’s role.
The pre production work is nearing completion and the makers are planning to commence shoot after Sankranthi. It is learnt that Surender Reddy has made a few changes to the script to suit the Telugu nativity. Thani Oruvan is an action thriller which fared exceptionally well in Tamil. Actor Aravind Swamy played a crucial role in the film and he is likely to be part of the Telugu version as well.
The cast and crew will be announced. Allu Aravind and DVV Danayya will jointly shepherd the project.
