Ram starrer I Smart Shankar, directed by Puri Jagannadh, is gearing up for release this Thursday. Even though the trailers and teasers are filled with too much of loudness with excessive mass elements, they have managed to grab the attention of target audience and the openings in B and C centres are likely to be very good.
With just a few days left for the release, it is expected that Ram and his team would go all out to promote the film quite aggressively. However, Ram has skipped promotions and left for a holiday. Reportedly, Ram is US bound for a one month holiday and he won’t be available even for post release promotions. So, Puri has taken the responsibility to promote the film.
Ram planned the holiday long back as the shooting formalities of I Smart Shankar were supposed to be wrapped up in Summer. But, due to some issues, the shooting got delayed. So, he took part in promotions briefly one week before release and headed for a much needed break.
