Ramesh Aravind is directing Tamannaah’s Queen
Bollywood sensational film Queen is being remade in all the South Indian languages. Malayalam filmmaker Manu Kumaran is bankrolling the film in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Milky beauty Tamannaah is playing the title role for the Telugu version which is directed by Neelakanta. “There is no truth in director being replaced because of me. I have immense respect towards Neelakanta and our film producer has taken some strict decisions for the film to shape out well” revealed Tamannaah. She did not directly reveal that the director has been replaced and now the director of Telugu version has been replaced. Kamal’s close friend and director Ramesh Aravind who has been helming the Tamil and Kannada remakes of Queen has been asked to take the responsibility of Telugu and Malayalam versions too.
While Tamannaah is the lead actress for the Telugu version, Kajal is the lead actress for Tamil, Parul Yadav for Kannada and Manjima Mohan is playing the title role for the Malayalam version. After wrapping up the foreign schedule, Neelakanta has been replaced with Ramesh Aravind. Only Tamannaah and Neelakanta knows the real reasons about the director’s replacement and we are yet to know if the episodes shot by Neelakanta will be used in the film or will be shot again.
