Macho hero Rana Daggubati has been shooting for two period dramas, Baahubali and Ghazi, from the past few months. Ghazi is the first navy film in India and it is based on the true happenings during the 1971 war which led to the sinking of the war submarine PNS Ghazi. The shooting has been wrapped up and the extensive post production work is currently underway.
According to the latest reports, Ghazi will hit the screens in February 2017. It is learnt that the makers are considering February 24 as a possible date to release the film in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Made on a hefty budget, Ghazi will feature eye popping visuals with special VFX effects. Tapsee, Atul Kulkarni and Kay Kay Menon are playing important roles in the film.
PVP Cinema is bankrolling the film and the Hindi version will be released by Karan Johar. Sankalp Reddy is making his directional debut with this film.
