That Rana teamed up with debutante Sankalp Reddy for an interesting bilingual project is a known news. Titled as Ghaji, the film is based on the mysterious sinking of the war submarine PNS Ghaji during the 1971 Indo – Pakistani war.
According to the latest update, popular Bollywood actor Kay Kay Menon,who played crucial roles in ‘Haider’, ‘Sarkar’ and ‘Black Friday’ to name a few, has been roped in for an important role in Ghaji. Veteran actor Prakash Raj was supposed to play the role, but he backed out of the project in the eleventh hour due to other commitments.
Rana will be seen as a naval officer and Kay Kay Menon will be playing the role of a commander. The shooting has kick started recently and a huge set has been erected in Hyderabad for the next schedule. Tapsee will be essaying a crucial role in the film. PVP Cinema is bankrolling this bilingual project.
